Hi, my name is Cory Roberson and I'm starting Co-Build Table as a passion project, some way to help others who are entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, or those who are just trying to find their way.
Monday through Friday is tough. With our careers, with business, with priorities and things going on, sometimes we need a place to focus.
And so what I'm doing is organizing coffee shop co-build tables, or even tables like this in the background, as a way to meet, to discuss your business plan, your app, your project, your book, or something that you wanted to start and you've been experiencing a lot of distractions.
I understand those things. I started after a bunch of distractions, but I started out of a coffee shop. And after 14, 15 years later, we've been able to maintain and sustain it.

Co-Build Table isn't new for Cory. For years he's met friends at coffee shops midweek, talking through life, jobs, family and business over a cup.

Hi, this is Cory again, and you might be asking: why now? I started working out of coffee shops when I was unemployed, single, with no plan and no idea how to start over again.
What did I do? I prayed first and asked God for wisdom — and for understanding, because it's challenging when you don't know what you want to do.
I know how that feels. I know how it feels to wake up unemployed, needing to work on something. Doing nothing is not an option. That's why I wanted to offer this opportunity.
I started going out to coffee shops — somewhere to go. I started working on a resume. I started working on a business plan. I started reaching out to seek clients and grow a business, all while just trying to make it.
I started working at an after-school program just to have a little money coming in before we got our first client. So I understand the grind — you might be working on a side hustle while you're waiting for something else to happen.

Most people don't stall because the idea is bad. They stall because the week is already full. Overwhelm takes the hours, burnout takes the energy, and the idea gets pushed to a someday with no date on it.
Life happens — we get busy, tired, off track. That isn't the end of it. Sometimes God gives another chance, even when it looks nothing like the version you started with. Same gift, new shape.

The purpose behind it

In Matthew 25, two servants put what they were given to work and it multiplies. The third, afraid of losing it, buries his. The fear is understandable. It's still the one choice the master calls a waste.
Cory's conviction is simple: skill, experience, an idea, a burden for a community — none of it was meant to be buried. Putting those gifts to work alongside other people is a practical way of sharing the gospel where people actually struggle: work, money, calling, and the next move.
All are welcome. You don't have to share the faith behind it to get a seat and people who take your work seriously.
